You might be surprised at how inexpensive these trips can be. Due to the limited luxuries of a completely green trip, costs for hotels and travel can be very cheap. Transportation by rail is very inexpensive and is the transportation of choice by most green vacationers. Expect that most eco tourist locations will cost just as much as a traditional vacation without the cost to the environment.
